I put my jacket
on the seat beside me so
if you come, I won't have to
tell everyone to scoot
down a chair.
In the meantime I am
quite enjoying the company
of my jacket and
am a little concerned that
you may not be
able to match
its wit for conversation
or its aptitude for
keeping me
warm.
