jotted this down on a napkin some weeks ago

You are one person I want at my funeral
[have you been balancing again?
been carrying war on your back and shoulders,
made them heavy with ill-fitting loads]
worthy of remembrance, guilty of perseverance
of anyone I know, you are the heart-iest
love. is blind [and you are blind]

  1. I really dig this one. It's probably my favorite by you so far. You mentioned how you thought that your senior year would be important, but once it came around you realized how seemingly insignificant it turned out. Then this starts off referring to one of the most single significant things in one's life, ironically, death. Awesome Becca!

oh, and the title is spelled out in the first words of each line, in case you might have overlooked that.
